Zola Mae Lott, returned to her Heavenly Father December 25, 2015. She was born October 28, 1924 in Pocatello, Idaho to Wilford Kimball and Anna Louise “Nancy” (Gneiting) Phippen.
She married Demont W. Lott on June 18, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Zola Mae was a cadet nurse during W.W.II. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a Registered Nurse and spent many years working in the Wasatch County Hospital and as a school nurse. Many people benefited from her hand-work.
She had a strong testimony and loved sharing it. Zola Mae and Demont served a mission in the Columbus Ohio Mission. They served thirteen and a half years as temple workers. More than anything she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Demont; her children: Lynda (Joe) Burrie; Judy (Jeff) McNeil; Louise (James) Wilson; Thayne (Bobbie) Lott; Marion (Kaye) Lott; Tonia (Jack) Walkenhorst; Royal (Kim) Lott; Cory (Sandi) Lott; Karlee (Jerry) Bird; and our foreign exchange son, Alfonso Bustamante. Also surviving are 46 grandchildren, 84 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, a sister, Gwen Lott; and a brother, Duane Phippen and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her younger brother, Donald; a sister Karol-Lou; and one great granddaughter, Emily Lisa Johnson.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kamas L.D.S. Ward Chapel, 100 West Center Street, Kamas, Utah. Friends and family may call at the church for viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home – Kamas.
