March 26, 1917 — December 18, 2011

Zoe Buck  Cox
"Reunited"

Zoe Buck Cox died peacefully in her sleep December 18th of causes incident to age.
She was born March 26th, 1917 to Lewis and Thelma Cornia Buck in the small town of Woodruff, Utah where she lived most of her life--spending her last few years with her daughter in Riverton, Utah and her eldest son in Washington Terrace.
Her youth was spent on her father's ranch--full of adventure, mischief and fun.
Later she worked in the hayfield alongside her father--helping provide a living for her family. She grew into a beautiful young woman who "caught" the eye of a handsome young man and they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. The children from this union, Thelma May, David Lynn and John Buck were welcomed and loved. She provided a warm, loving and fun home for her husband and children. She loved and took great joy in being a wife and a mother. She was active in the LDS church and served as she was called to do so.  Her husband, Lynn, preceded her in this mortal event we call death and they will rejoice in their sweet re-union. Her last few years were difficult ones, but she is now free of pain and can see and hear clearly and can walk and run.
Also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Vilate (Joe) Longhurst, Rea Dawn (Keith) Black, and brother Max (Wilma) Buck, three of her siblings who died shortly after birth (Verla, Lewis and Bessie), and a great, great grandson, Cole Pelton.
Survived by her sister, Ruth (Ira Lee) Muir, and children, Thelma
(Kent) Bishop, David (Sue) Cox, John (Karen) Cox, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Woodruff Ward chapel at 11 A.M. with viewing 1 hour before service.
Interment in the Woodruff Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston.
We Love You Mom.
