Heaven gained an angel today!
Wilma Arlene (Billie) Titmus left us on March 8, 2017. She has spent the last year and a half at Mission at Castle Rock in Green River.
Billie was born on October 6, 1931 in Evanston to George and Florence Titmus. She spent most of her life in Evanston, with a short time in Kemmerer and Green River. She moved back to Evanston to take care of her parents in their later years.
Billie worked at the State Hospital, Uinta School District #1 and Home Décor in Evanston. She also owned Billie’s Dress Shop in Green River. In her “spare” time she was a seamstress and sold Beauty Councilor Makeup. She was a hard worker and dedicated to her jobs, employers and employees.
Family was most important in her life. She was ever the giver, trying to help anyone in need. She would light up when her grandkids and great-grandkids were around. Having everyone at her house gave her great joy.
Billie is survived by her sister, Rita Hicks; her three children: Kari (IJ) Rogers, Dane (Chris) Hutchings and René (Stacy – his fiancé) Dees, and twelve grandchildren, Cortnie (Jericho) Morrell, Sara Rogers, Brittany (Brian) Clyne, Angie (BJ) Langford, Preston (Christy) Hutchings, Andreas and Demetri Dees, Steve (Shea) Martinez, Travis (Courtney) Martinez, Cassie (Stan) Taggart, Lacey (Joe) Jenson, and Erin (Nate) Sitterud, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Titmus, sisters June Moore and Lois Day, and her grandson Brian Rogers.
She will be missed by all those who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Evanston City Cemetery in Evanston, Wyoming.
