William Lemon

William H. Lemon 90, of Exeter Missouri passed away at his home on Friday, June 5, 2020

He was born March 25, 1930 in Provo Utah, the son of Grace Ella and William H. Lemon

Bill attended school in Francis, Utah and South Summit High School.

On April 9, 1952, he married Mildred Lenor Hale in the Salt Lake City Temple. They had celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this year.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He served in many callings through the years, but the ones he enjoyed the most were with the youth, teaching, being a missionary, and serving as Bishop of the Francis Ward for 10 years.  In his later years, Mildred and he served a mission in Miller, South Dakota.

Bill was a dairyman, and farmer.  He loved to hunt and fish, ride horses, share the gospel, and spend time with his family and friends.

He lived various places throughout his life including Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Lenor Hale of Exeter Missouri.  His children, Duane (Margaret) Lemon, of Stark City, Missouri,  Janice (Dwight) Bastian, of West Jordan, Utah,  Joyce (Arnie) Hipwell of Emmett, Idaho, David (Marion) Lemon of Westville, Oklahoma, Esther (Robert) Pointer of Exeter, Missouri, Carol Lisa (Les) Haskins of Moroni, Utah, Daniel (Victoria) Lemon of Gilbert, Arizona, Benjamin (Jody) Lemon of Sandy, Utah.  32 Grandchildren, 54 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great, Great Grandchild

Siblings, Melvin (Marilyn) Lemon, Max (Janet) Lemon, Louise (Ferron) Peterson, Kathleen (Roy) McGuire, Margaret (Duane) Parke, Glen (Roie Ellen) Lemon, Ruth (Phil) Novak, preceded in death by Lucille Lemon Smith.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 19 at the Francis Ward Building.  A viewing will be held at the Francis Ward at 10:00 am

Interment will be at 12:00 pm in the Francis Cemetery.
