William Clark

February 21, 1919 — March 7, 2013

William B. Clark passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at the age of 94.  Bill was born Feb. 21, 1919 to Charlie P. Clark and Maggie Bell Carter Clark in Whitesboro, TX.
Bill entered the army in November 1941 and served through the duration of WWII.  Bill served with the 410th Engineer Combat Battalion in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.  Upon returning from the war Bill met and married the love of his life Juanita Butler on January 15, 1946.
To this union was born two daughters Patricia Ann and Sandra Jean.
Bill worked much of his life in the oil and gas industry. While working in the oil industry, the family moved several times before settling in Cortez, CO in 1958.   Retirement was a word that Bill did not want to understand.  He was always working or fixing something until very late in his life.  In 2010 he moved to Layton, UT to be closer to his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and four brothers.  He is survived by his loving wife Juanita, his daughters Patricia (Jack) Henry, Lyons, GA; Sandra Knippers, Evanston, WY.  His grandchildren John Cozad, Aurora, CO; Mike (Cheryl) Cozad, Perrysburg, OH; Richard (Desiree) Knippers, Evanston, WY; Rick Cozad, Tinley Park, IL;  Christopher Cozad, Dayton, OH and his only granddaughter Crystal Knippers, Layton, UT, and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. March 16, 2013 at the L.D.S. Elm St. church in Evanston, WY. Interment in the Evanston City Cemetery.
The family would like to give special thanks to Suzy Larsen and Darla McNeil of Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services for the loving care given to Bill during his last year of life.  The family would also like to thank Tammy with Encompass Home Health and Hospice for the loving care given during Bills last days.
