Wanda Joyce Perry, passed away at her home in Woodruff, Utah on June 18, 2013 at the age of 60. She was born on January 7, 1953 to William and Audrey Palmer in Huron, South Dakota. She married Weldon Perry in March of 1974.
Wanda was a self-starter and business owner of her own construction cleaning business. One of Wanda’s favorite hobbies was arts and crafts and she enjoyed cutting out moose, rabbits, and various animals with her band saw. With her vivid imagination, she would paint them into characters. She had a great love for all of God’s creatures and was a huge supporter of animal rights and could never understand what would provoke others to harm animals or others as well.
Wanda enjoyed outdoor activities with her family. As a member of the LDS Church, she had a strong belief in its doctrine and always taught that family unity was very important and that you should always be able to count on your family. She would sacrifice everything she had to make sure no one went without. Her beliefs gave her peace of mind knowing that life on earth was only the beginning.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Weldon Perry, her sons; Cody William Perry, Dustin Lamar (Kari) Perry, her daughter Brandi Faye (Dave) Putnam of Afton, Wyoming, and 6 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Palmer of Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents; William and Audrey Palmer, and a brother Kenneth Palmer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11 am at the Woodruff LDS Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will take place following services at the Woodruff Cemetery.
