Walter Dwight Rouse II passed away on February 8, 2016 at his residence in St. George, Utah at the age of 67. He was born on April 17, 1949 in Burbank, California. Walter married Sharon Mary Rouse on October 03, 1964 in Encino, California. As a young man Walter enlisted in the United States armed forces as a naval fireman, he held the rank FN. He served 2 tours in Vietnam; the entirety of his naval career lasted from September 17,1969 to June 19,1973. While serving he was awarded several medals: the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, and One Bronze Star. He is survived by his children: Colleen (Terry) Napier, Sandra (Larry) Lawlis, Dwight Rouse, Timothy (Trish) Rouse, Shaun Rouse, Jodie (Simon) Avila, and Holly Boynton. Grandchildren: Amanda, Preston, Terry Jo, Daniel, Daniel, Jacob, Walter, Taylor, Skye, Madi, Baltazar, Mariaha, Esmeralda, Rocky, Samuel, Colby, Destiney, Michael, and Patrick. He has inspired and warmed the hearts of all he has come to know, he will be greatly missed from all of his family and friends. The viewing will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Crandall Funeral Home, the service will follow at 12:00 noon.
