Virginia Fae Gatti, 76 passed away on Saturday December 29, 2018 in Ely Nevada, after several years of ill health.
Virginia was born on April 26th, 1942 in Rock Springs Wyoming. One of 6 children born to Arthur George Cook and Murial Esther Lester Cook, Virginia was the second to the youngest of the 6 children. She developed polio at an early age and spent a lot of her younger years in and out of hospitals. Virginia loved animals all of her life. She couldn’t stand to see an animal needing a home and so Virginia took in many pets and gave them a loving and good home. Virginia loved her music, when she was younger she liked going to concerts and rodeos. She played her music for hours, it comforted her very much. Virginia grew up and attended school in Green River, Wyoming. Where she married Paul Budak and moved to Ely Nevada, where she was later divorced. She Married William (Bill) Gatti of Ruth, Nevada in 1965. Where she continued to live till her time of passing.
Virginia is survived by her Sister Marjorie Smith and her husband Glenn Smith, Brother-in-law Mike Gatti and his wife Judy Gatti, Son Anthony Gatti and his wife Cora Gatti, Daughters Tracy Gatti and Yvette Gatti, Grandchildren Nena Gatti, Abigail and Olivia Cooke, Brandon and Sara Barnum.
Virginia was preceded in death by her Husband Bill Gatti, Parents Arthur and Esther Cook, Sister Esther Shirley, Brothers Garold Eugene Cook, Darwin Henry Cook, and George Harold Cook; Sister-in-law Marilyn Cook and Brother-In-law John Gatti
Funeral services will be held at Crandall’s Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming on Friday January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
