Vincent Joseph Comeau was born October 6, 1972 in Ogden, Utah to William Comeau,
Sr and Carol McGrath Nash. He passed away December 30th, 2014 at his home in
Evanston, Wyoming at the age of 42.
Vince grew up in the Layton, Utah area surrounded by family and friends. He excelled in
school and sports and loved the outdoors. He skied, hunted, fished and enjoyed the
water.
Vince moved to Evanston, Wyoming in 2002 and in spite of his many health issues
lived a full and rewarding life. He enjoyed writing and had a great love for music and
the arts. He enjoyed his friends, he liked to shop, and he looked forward to family
activities. He was a football fan and he enjoyed a good movie. He attended St. Mary
Magdalen Catholic Church.
Vince was a kind and compassionate man and wherever he went he befriended others and
touched the hearts of many. He dearly loved his family, especially his nieces and
nephews, and they all loved him in return. Vince's smile and laugh will be missed by
all. He was our buddy.
Vince is survived by his dad William Sr. (Patty) Comeau of Evanston, WY, his mother
Carol (Mike) Nash of Riverdale, UT, his brother William Jr. (Bernie) Comeau and sister
Michelle Stephenson both of Layton, UT; his grandmother Clara Searle; his step
siblings Sara (Dan) Allison, Jason (Alicia) Urbigkit and Amy (Chad) Bingham; his
nieces Tylor, Kylie, Savannah, Alijah, Kayleigh, Heather, Annelise, Ainsley, Marian and
Karis; his nephews Aaron, Braydon, Logan, Liam, Ryan and Joe; and many loving
aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceeded in death by his grandparents Doc and Grace Comeau and Richard
McGrath, and his great grandparents Kenneth and Lillian McGrath,
The family extends their sincere appreciation to the Wyoming State Hospital, to Pioneer
Counseling and CLIP, and to the many people who helped care for and enrich Vince's
life.
A Funeral mass will take place Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Mary
Magdalen Catholic Church in Evanston. Graveside services and interment will follow at
2:30 pm at Washington Heights Memorial (4500 Washington BLVD, Ogden, Utah).
