Vila Lee Dean
Vila Lee Dean, passed away at her home on December 26, 2011. She was born on November 14, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming, the daughter of Clifford Thomas and Verlene (Norris) Schofield. She married Richard Ray Dean on March 9, 1966 in Paris, Idaho. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2009.
Vila was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, they meant the world to her. She loved to play bingo, and travel and have a good time. She especially enjoyed her friends at the beauty shop.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Melissa) Dean, of Sydney, Montana.; and daughters, Melissa Gay (Steven) Hulse, of Evanston, WY.; and Robyn (Kent) Halverson, of Morgan, UT. She is survived by nine grandchildren; Ashlee, AnnJalee, Rachel, Brad, Madison, Parker, Christian, Trevor, Zander. She is also survived by a brother, Tom Schofield, of Casper, WY.; and a sisters, Norma Coleman, of Casper, WY.; Pat Schofield, of Montana, Gay(Marion) Dunning of Evanston, WY.; Denna (LeRoy) Lavato, of Salt Lake City, UT.; and Nancy Monson, of Ogden, UT.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Evanston South Stake Center, with Bishop Horrocks officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Crandall Funeral Home and again one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Interment will follow services at the Evanston Cemetery, Evanston, WY.
