Victor Glen Hughes passed away March 10, 2021 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center
Where he has resided for the last three years. Victor was born September 19, 1937 in
Evanston, Wyoming to Glen B. and Rebecca Limb Hughes.
He went to work at an early age to help support his family. He started working at
Freeman’s Café, moved to the Wyoming State Hospital, and then spent32 years at the
Evanston High School. Victor joined the National Guard at age 17. He served as a
Member for 22 years.
Victor was known as a kind, considerate, and hard-working man. He enjoyed hunting,
Fishing, camping, walking his dog and visiting with persons that he met who had time to
Talk. He enjoyed collecting and refurbishing items that he found on his rambles that
others had discarded.
Victor is survived by two sons, Neil and Dwight, two grandsons, Nicholas and Isaac, and
A special daughter-in-law, Joella. He left one brother, two sisters, and 26 nieces and
Nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, one sister, and
Six nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service is planned for Victor this summer. We would like anyone with memories to come and share. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to Unita County Senior Citizens.
