Vernon Bluemel

May 8, 1932 — September 16, 2017

Vernon John Bluemel passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 surrounded by his family at his home in Lyman, Wyoming.  He was born to John Vernon and Marguerite Bluemel on May 8, 1932 in Lyman, Wyoming.
Vernon married Renella Maxfield on November 6, 1949 in Lyman, Wyoming and together they had four children.  He enjoyed dancing, horses, camping, fishing, hunting, sports, cutting firewood, he loved people and was a member of the LDS church.
He is survived by his wife Renella, his daughters Glenna Rollins and Kelly Bonner, his sons Dick (Eva) Bluemel and Darren (Gina) Bluemel, his brother Ivan Bluemel, sister Merlin Walker, half-brother Gary Bluemel, fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.
Vernon is preceded in death by his father John Vernon Bluemel, mother Marguerite Plumer Ellsworth, brother Jay Bluemel, step-brother Sherwood Coleman, step-sister Delores Coleman, half-brother Kurtiss Bluemel, son-in-law Dick Rollins and grandson Ryan Bluemel.
Funeral services will be held Thursday September 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Lyman LDS Church with a viewing starting at 10:00 am the same day.  A graveside service will be held directly after funeral services at the Lyman Cemetery in Lyman, Wyoming.
