Travis Ryan Vetos left us on October 22, 2019. Travis was born on November 5, 1972 in Kemmerer, Wyoming to Walter “Cork” and Marianne Lawson Vetos. He grew up in Kemmerer, Wyoming and graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1991. He attended Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona pursuing an education in automotive repair. After graduating in 1992, Travis moved back to Kemmerer for several years before making Evanston, Wyoming his home.
Travis married Shannon Storbo in Grand Junction, Colorado on July 3, 1999. Together they brought three beloved children into the world: Corey, Nicky, and Jack. His dedication to his boys included many early mornings watching soccer games, late nights attending school events, and weekends volunteering as a Cubmaster for a local Cub Scout troop.
A master of many trades, Travis was well versed in many aspects of life. His work in construction with his father and brother, automotive repair, water treatment, and the oil and natural gas industry all helped develop his extensive knowledge and appreciation of the world. Known for his ability to create and fix just about anything, Travis had a desire to improve the world and the lives of others around him.
From exploring the great outdoors in his beloved Jeep to baking the birthday cakes of his family, Travis lived his life with many passions. His eyes have seen many of the wonders of the American landscape, and his ears have heard the concerts of some of the greatest rock musicians of his generation. His love for his family knew no bounds; he enjoyed watching movies with his wife and playing chess and football with his sons.
