Travis Bowman

On March 28, 2014 our beloved son, father, husband, and brother, Travis Bowman returned home to the open arms of his loving Heavenly Father.
Travis was born March 11, 1979 to Roland Jay and Christine Bowman. He graduated from Lyman High School in 1998. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Navy, where he continued to serve honorably until 2013. On May 10, 2004 Travis married Jalila (Angel) Mubarak.
Travis is survived by his wife, Jalila, a son Adam Jay, and a daughter Layla of Lyman, Wyoming. He is also survived by his parents Jay and Christine Bowman of Lyman, Wyoming, and four sisters; Heather O’Brien, Teresa (Keith) Huntington both of Mt. View, Wyoming; Jalynn (Scott) Livingston of Vernon, Utah, and Lori (Joe) Madsen of Lyman, Wyoming, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roland and Joyce Bowman and Dallas and Joyce Peterson; an Uncle Shane Peterson, and an Aunt Ada Ann Bowman.
Funeral services for Travis will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11 am at the Lyman LDS Stake Center in Urie, Wyoming. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Stake Center, as well as one hour prior to funeral services on Wednesday. Burial will take place at the Lyman City Cemetery following services.
