Our beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Tovah Rebekah Sepulveda-Burton, 37, slipped quietly away, in her sleep, during the early hours of Thursday, May 5th, of complications incident to congenital heart disease. Tovah was born March 25th 1979 in Glendale, Arizona, the seventh child of Humberto Hernandez Sepulveda and Judith Denise Dudley-Sepulveda. She attended Taylor Elementary, Mound Fort Middle School and Ben Lomond High School, graduating in 1997.
She married in 2000 and from that marriage came the greatest joy she ever knew, her two children, Ryland, 16, and Taelor, 15. How she loves her babies; she often said that they were the best work she ever did and she was so proud of them, of the kind of people they were growing into. She was a wonderful mother, who encouraged, exhorted, and taught her children well. Her first marriage ended in divorce and on May 3rd, 2014 she married Traig Burton in Sandy, Utah. In December 2015 she moved to Evanston, Wyoming.
Tovah is survived by her husband Traig Burton, of Sandy, Utah, her two children, Ryland and Taelor Evans, of Evanston, Wyoming, her parents Bert and Judi Sepulveda, of Hamilton, Missouri, her sisters Simone Sepulveda of Evanston, Wyoming, Pilar Sepulveda-Lester, (Rory), Evanston, Wyoming, Sacha Sepulveda, Ogden, Utah, and Domini Sepulveda-Olson (Kody) of Roosevelt, Utah; brothers, Adam Sepulveda, (Tawsha), West Haven, Utah, Joshua Sepulveda, Ogden, Utah, and Micah Sepulveda (Lori), Logan, Utah: special nieces and nephews, Morgan, Samuel and Sophie Sepulveda and Sullivan Olson, and fourteen other nieces and nephews; and maternal grandparents, Frederick and Eunice Dudley of Belchertown, Massachusetts. She leaves many more aunts, uncles and cousins in California, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, France, Mexico and Australia, who join the family in grieving the loss of our ‘little ray of sunshine. Tovah was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Amalia Hernandez Sepulveda.
