Timothy Reed Holgate has returned to his Heavenly Father. He loved the Lord and was a very spiritual person, reading scriptures daily. He was born in Murray, Utah to Roland and Janice Holgate. The family moved to Evanston in 1966, making Evanston home for Tim the remainder of his life.
Tim graduated from Evanston High School. He then worked in construction, building and remodeling houses with his father and brother. He later worked at the Evanston Housing Authority until his death. Known by many in the community, he was often seen walking around the town and along the busy streets. He took great pride in this community and spent endless hours of his own time gathering items cast off and lost in the wind, only to clean and beautify our surroundings. He assisted family and friends and many others through yard work, snow removal or help around the house.
He will be remembered for his loving smile and gentle heart to all those lives he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Henrikson, father, Roland Holgate, step mother, Sheralyn Holgate. Brothers, Dale (Nancy) Holgate, Steve (Teresa) Holgate, Dan (Inge) Holgate, sisters, Salena (Mike) Dorner, Sheila Holgate, Tina (Mitch) Velarde, and Becky Henrikson. Other siblings include David (Barbara) Holgate, Yvonne Cleaveland, Jeff (Kat) Holgate, Monica (Gary) Brusseau, Ray Henrikson, Terri (Richard) Caswell and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by two brothers, Kalyn and Kyle Holgate.
