Thelma Pearl Petersen Wilde, 87 passed away February 11, 2016 in the Rocky Mountain Care Center, in Heber City, Utah. Born June 25, 1928 in Coalville, Utah to Ole Andrew Petersen and Florence Ella West Petersen. Married Dwayne M. Wilde September 2, 1950, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, June 10, 1969. He passed away May 19, 2006. She worked very hard at many jobs, and taking care of her family. She adored all her "little kids" and always asked how they were doing. She had many friends and enjoyed going to lunch and visiting with everyone. She held many positions in different church organizations, Mutual, Primary and Relief Society. She enjoyed talking to all her ladies every month on the phone to get her report. She was a member of the Kamas DUP, the Sew and Sew Club and the Oakley Civic Club. She attended
school in North Summit and graduated in 1948. She enjoyed watching the games between North and South Summit. She enjoyed watching Jazz games and Dancing with the Stars.
She is survived by daughters, Sherida Wilde, Kamas; Debra (Rick) Siddoway Francis; and her son Kevin (Mineta) Wilde, Oakley. Also 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dwayne, her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters. son-in-law Larry Johnson, grandson Brandon Johnson, and great-grand-daughter Ryleigh Siddoway.
The family would like to thank Audrey, Britney, and all the staff at the care center. They did a wonderful job taking care of Mom.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 12 noon in the Francis LDS Ward Chapel, 387 West Last Frontier Lane, Francis, Utah. Viewing will be from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in the Oakley Cemetery.
