“Rino” The Man; The Myth; The Legend, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a courageous battle with lung disease.

He was born on August 21, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eugene Alberto and Joan Carolyn (Dawson) Rino. He attended Granger High School. Rino was a man of many talents working as a Taxidermist, Construction and Maintenance, and most recently as a Haul Truck driver for Utelite.

Married on March 17, 1990 in West Jordan Utah, to the love of his life Laneya Lynn Davis. They are proud parents to 4 incredible children, and grandparents to 8 wonderful grandchildren.

Rino was the best Husband, Dad, and Papa. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family outdoors. On family camping trips he was a storyteller extraordinaire, and had the amazing ability to entertain everyone for hours with his captivating stories. He could always be found enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, and shooting. Rino was skilled in knife sharpening, leather working, and was a Traeger enthusiast. He was “Mr. Fix-it"; and always an example of hard work.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laneya; Daughters, Teal (Jacob) Larson; Mandarin (Kreed) Sargeant; Autumn (Dustin) Hardman; and Son, Dakota (Zach) Rino and his best buddy and hunting partner Duke, Trapper Dog, and Sharpoodle.

He will be missed by his 8 grandchildren: Madelyn, Bridger, Harleigh, Scarlett, Carliah, Carson, Magnus, and Bristol; his father, Eugene Rino; brothers, Delbert, and Brent Rino; and sister, Lorna Silva.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Rino; mother-in-law, Irva Rene Davis, and father-in-law, Alva Davis.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the Oakley Red Barn, 4300 North SR 32 (Rodeo Grounds)
Oakley, UT.
