TED C. BURGENER 1927-2014
Ted C. Burgener, passed away December 4, 2014 at the age of 87 years, in
Ogden, Utah. He was born to Jacob and Minnie Burgener in Midway, Utah
on September 29, 1927.
He worked in the Park City Mines for 32 years. He was also a Union
Carpenter for many years. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. Most of
all, his love, as a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle, has been a
wonderful gift and blessing to all...
He and his wife, Darsa Murdock, had four children: Lynn (Diann), Susan
(Larry) Smith, Don, Jan B. Kohler.
He married Betty Lefler Babcock, November 7, 1980. They loved to travel together and with friends. Spending time with family was one of their greatest joys. He served in the LDS, SLC Temple for 13 years. He also served with 5 Bishops during that same time.
He is already, dearly missed by his wife of 34 years Betty, his 3 children & their companions, stepchildren: Phillip (Kaye) Babcock, Mike (Lara) Babcock, Patricia
(Bryan) Gilley, brother-in-law, Bill Lefler, along with 34 grandchildren, 68
great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Ted was preceded in death by his first wife, Darsa; one son, Don; step-son David Babcock; one brother, six sisters, and six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Monday December 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mountain Green LDS Chapel, 4150 W. Old Highway Road. Friends and family may call at the church for viewing on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to the funeral. Graveside service will be in the Midway Cemetery, Midway, Utah at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas, Utah.
