Sylvia Jean Davidson Condos Gaylord was called home by her loving Heavenly Father on October
9, 2022 where she was greeted by her husband George, her son Casey, her grandson Christopher, and
many other cherished family and friends. George passed away on Oct 27, 1992. She later married Gary
Gaylord on May 19, 2008 creating an even bigger family to love. She was a lifetime resident of the
Bridger Valley. Jean deeply loved all of her family.
Jean was born in Urie, WY on March 5, 1933 to Amber Charles and Sylvia Jane Kilburn
Davidson. She married George Wayne Condos on July 6, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were
blessed with 7 children and lots of grandchildren that she loved telling stories of her many adventures.
Jean had a deep love and respect for the community she lived in and especially loved being out in
nature. She loved quilts, art and traveling abroad and visited many countries including Greece, Italy,
Portugal and many others. She enjoyed painting and gave many of her paintings to family and friends.
She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings.
Scouts and Relief Society being her favorites.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband George, son Casey, grandson Christopher, daughter in
law Adrien, her parents, brothers Charles, Edwin, Nels, sisters Maevonne, Sharol, Carol, Virginia and
Elaine.
She is survived by her husband Gary, her sons, Steve Condos Urie WY, John (Suzi) Condos Mt View
WY, Monte (Heather) Condos Corvallis MT, Michalis (Gina) Kotsikogiannis Blaine WA, and daughters
Janet (Brent) Maxfield Mt View WY and Kathy (Quint) Davis Cheyenne WY, Sister Patricia Riggs
Mustang OK. 35 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also
survived by many other Davidson, Condos and Gaylord family members whom she loved dearly.
A public viewing will be held October 14, 2022 at the Mountain View LDS Church from 5 to
7pm. A private Family viewing will be held October 15, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the same
building. A graveside service will then be held at the Lyman, WY cemetery at 11:00am.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston for their tender and
loving care of our mother and the kindness they showed to our family during these last few months.
Jean, Mom, will be deeply missed by all of us who were blessed to know her.
