Susan Welling Lake
Susan Welling Lake, age 58, was reunited with her eternal companion after passing away at L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.; on January 14, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on July 17, 1955 in Tremonton, UT.; the daughter of Don and Afton (Campbell) Welling.
She married Michael Paul Lake on April 30, 1976 in the Logan, Utah LDS temple. Mike preceded her in death on July 8, 2007.
Susan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served and enjoyed working in numerous callings and leadership positions. She loved spending time with family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, crafts, music, and scrapbooking. Her famous macaroni salad will be missed by all at the family gatherings.
She is survived by her parents, Don and Afton Welling, her children, Brent (Collette) Lake, of Evanston, WY.; Steven (Vicki) Lake, of Green River, WY.; Julie (Jeff) Young; of Evanston, WY.; Jenny (Chris) Bebel, of Platte City, MO.; and Nicole (Luke) Hicks, of Evanston, WY.; her mother in law, Marial Timperley, Brothers, Calvin (Kathy) Welling, Brad (Chris) Welling, Brian (Kellie) Welling, David (Wendy) Welling, Gary (Stacey) Welling, and Mikal (Jenny) Welling. She is also survived by her sisters, Diane (Curtis) Rex, Jean (Dave) Anderson, Jill (Jim) Smith, and Janet (Steve) Alkire and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; Bridger, Corbin, Reagan & Hudson Lake; Caleb, and Hunter Lake; Braxton, Cambree, and Oaklee Young; and Madsion, Jordan, and Michael Bebel.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mike Lake, an older sister, a niece, Melissa Anderson, and nephews, Zachary Welling and Jamedon Welling.
