Susan Johnson

Susan Jane (Lee) Johnson, age 59 passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2020, in Evanston Wyoming.  She had endured a decade long battle with a multitude of medical issues. “Susie” was born on August 6, 1960 in Ogden, Utah to Kenneth Glen and Jackie Worden Lee (Hulet).

She married the love of her life, Wayne E. Johnson on September 5, 2009 – they were together for over 21 years.  Wayne was the primary caregiver for her over the past 10 years, the family is grateful for his loving care. He was always by her side and took exceptional care of her.

Susie lived life to the fullest, and was happiest when she was with family and friends. She loved to fish, hunt and go camping.  She was the avid collector of “things” and had an extensive marble and knife collection. She loved to buy things for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was one of the most giving persons the world has ever seen.  Even while she was struggling with her health issues she was always thinking of family and always had gifts for the children.

She was preceded in death by her father, and niece Eva “Annie” Trump.  She leaves behind her husband, Wayne Johnson; mother, Jackie Hulet; mother-in-law, Joyce Johnson; sisters: Judy Lee Wilkinson, and Julie (Danny) Bloxham.  Stepchildren; Shane, Cindy, James and Renee’ that she loved as if they were her own, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful for the loving care the many nurses, aides and local church leaders provided to Susie.  Their help was a great comfort and will always be remembered.

Her death leaves a huge void in our lives, but we know she is able to walk, run, and is no longer in pain.

As she requested, Susie will be cremated under the care of Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta, Evanston, Wyoming.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 949 Sage Street, Evanston, Wyoming 82930.
