Sheralyn Holgate

Sheralyn Holgate passed away at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City, UT on Sunday, August 9, 2015.  She was born on August 20, 1940 in Redmond, UT to Orlando and Sylvia (lewis) Jensen.  She married David Don Holgate in 1959,  who preceded her in death in January of 1970.  She later married Roland Holgate who preceded her in death in June of 2014.

Sheralyn was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, holding many leadership callings throughout her life.  She worked at the Maverick store in Evanston for many years.  She loved spending time with her family and dogs.

She is survived by her children David (Barbara) Holgate of Rock Springs, WY; Jeff (Kat) Holgate of Evanston, WY; Yvonne Holgate of Evanston, WY; Monica (Gary) Brusseau of LaPine, OR.  She is also survived by her step children Dale (Nancy) Holgate of Evanston, WY; Steven (Teresa) Holgate of Florence, AZ; Danny (Inga) Holgate of California; Salina (Mike) Dorner of Evanston, WY; Sheila Holgate of Evanston, WY, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother Marlund Jensen of Boise, ID and a sister Sam (Rod) Edwards of Riverton, UT, and daughter-in-law Angela Horsewill.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, David and Roland Holgate and sons Kalyn Don Holgate and Leslie Kyle Holgate, and step son Tim Holgate, and grandson Christopher Holgate.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11 am in the Evanston LDS 5th Ward Chapel on Elm Street.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will take place at the Farmington, Utah Cemetery at 3 pm on Thursday following the funeral service.
