She graduated from Evanston High School in 1988. Her first marriage in 1989, took her to Tacoma, Washington where she lived for 18 years. She met her son Joshua's father and after a divorce, her and Josh moved back to Evanston.
On March 5, 2011 she met her soulmate and the love of her life, Kim Putnam. He along with her son Josh was the best thing that happened in her life.
Her crowning achievement was the birth of her son Josh, they were best friends and had many ups and downs but her love never died for Kim and Josh and she fought the odds, to be able to see and enjoy the first year of her grandson Jhetts Life.
