Sheldon Windley

Sheldon Arnell Windley, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his home in Evanston, WY.  He was born on May 12, 1922 in St. Charles, Idaho, the son of Raymond Wesley  and Thelma May (Arnell) Windley.  He attended schools in St. Charles, ID.
He married Mildred Josephine Sage in Colorado in 1943
He served his country in the Army during WWll.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4280.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Sons; Sheldon (Mitz) Windley, Jr. of Ione, CA.; Dale (Barbara) Windley, of Evanston, WY.; Bryce Windley, of Lusk, WY.; and daughters, Karen Griffen, of Albany, GA.; Debra (Mike) Bishop, of Ione, CA.; and Teena (Wayne) Engstrom, of Iron River, WS.; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty five great grandchildren.  One brother, Merrill (Mildred Windley, and a Sister Clea Gibson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, and a celebration of his life will be conducted at a later date.
