Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Sharon Ann (Palmer) Hoffman, passed away peacefully in her home on December 28, 2024, at the age of 86. Sharon was born on April 13, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Clarence R. and Nora Carter Palmer. At the age of three, her family moved to Evanston, Wyoming, where she resided for the remainder of her life. In 1956, Sharon married Larry Hoffman on December 1st, they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. Sharon was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and dedicated much of her life to service. She held various positions, including Primary teacher, Primary President, Stake Primary Counselor, Stake Primary President, and Ward Relief Society President.

Throughout her life, Sharon was dedicated to her family and home. She was an excellent cook and took great joy in preparing holiday meals. Sharon was also passionate about bowling, having bowled in women’s leagues for over 58 years, serving in various league offices, and competing in state and regional tournaments. She was also involved in organizing EHS class reunions and was a grantor of scholarships for the EHS Alumni Association for many years.

Sharon’s hobbies included reading, embroidery, and spending time with her close friends at “card club” every month for over 68 years.
