Shannon Elizabeth Covolo

Shannon Elizabeth Chesser Covolo was born December 2, 1971. Shannon Elizabeth Covolo died on August 2, 2024. She had a very loving spirt, loved the lord and her friends and family. She was born as a BYU baby in Provo, moved to Texas and she finished growing up in Denver. She went to college at Rexburg, Idaho where she met Todd Covolo. They were married in May of 1992 in the temple and later divorced. During their marriage they had two children Tyler Jay Covolo and Brook Elizabeth Covolo.

At the time of death, Shannon was a mom, daughter, aunt, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She loved art, handwork, quilting, family and friends. She dedicated her life to her heavenly father, and loved attending the LDS church. She taught primary, enjoyed studied studying scriptures, and journaling and scrapbooking. She was a paraprofessional in Mountain View, and Evanston Wyoming. She also obtained her CDA and worked serving others while in this job.

Shannon was preceded in death by her mother; Sally Ipson Chesser, daughter Brook Covolo and mother-in-law Annabeth Covolo who greeted her with loving arms.

She is survived by her son Tyler Jay Covolo who loved her, father William (Bill) Chesser. She is also survived by: David Chesser, Steven Chesser, Matthew Chesser, (brothers) and Margaret (Mark) Andersen (sister); Dan Jay Covolo (father-in-law), Carrie & (Mike) Ellison, Jill Covolo and Danielle Covolo (sister-in laws), and Robert Covolo (brother-in-law), and nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Services will be at a later date and will be private.

Shannon will be laid to rest at Lyman Cemetery in Lyman, Wyoming with her daughter Brook Covolo is.
