Seth Potter

Seth Gordon Potter passed away at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah on Tuesday, December 16, 2014.  He was born July 30, 1984 in Rocksprings, Wyoming to G. Layne & Joanne (Howard) Potter.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; maternal grandmother Dorothy Howard and paternal grandparents Orvil & Relva Potter.

Seth is survived by his parents Layne and Joanne Potter; brothers Joseph, Adam and Isaac Potter; sister Hannah (Potter) Harris; brother-in-law Matt Harris; sisters-in-law Marcie Potter and Jenni Potter; nephews Sawyer, Eli, and Owen; and nieces Alice and Naomi.

Seth was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently a member of the Orem 41st Young Single Adults Ward.  He served a  mission for the church in the Indiana, Indianapolis mission.

Seth loved life and was full of adventure which included, Riding his Harley, saddle making, breaking horses, riding horses in the mountains, fishing, camping, snowboarding, and skiing, but most of all spending time with his friends and family.  He was always a happy person who loved everyone and had a laugh that would fill up the whole room.  He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2 pm at the Lyman LDS Stake Center in Urie, Wyoming with interment following at the Lyman City Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Lyman LDS Stake Center from 6 to 8 pm, as well as on Saturday from 12:30 to 2 pm just prior to funeral services.
