Sergio Mendoza

Sergio Manuel Mendoza Tapia passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 while working in Colorado.  He was born on June 11, 1993 in Labarca, Jalisco, Mexico to Sergio and Laura Mendoza.

Sergio was the most caring and loving person who could always put a smile on your face.  He enjoyed playing soccer and had a real passion for wrestling and always enjoyed competing with the Evanston High School Wrestling team.  His biggest fans were his mom, dad, and sisters.  Sergio enjoyed hanging out with his friends and his family.  He is loved by all of his family, and will be truly missed by all.

Sergio is survived by his mother Laura Mendoza; father Sergio Mendoza; sister Alexandra Mendoza; sister Jessica Mendoza; and his girlfriend Alejandra Villalobos and unborn child.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 5 to 6 pm with Rosary Service starting at 6 pm at Crandall Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
