Scott Wright

March 11, 1987 — February 3, 2025

Scott Wright, a beloved family man, was lost to the mountain in an avalanche in the Monte Cristo Utah area on Monday February 3, 2025.

Scott was a devoted father. His daughters were the light of his life. Him and co-parent Autumn made co-parenting look easy and shared a parental bond many looked up to. He wasn't given the time to make many memories with his infant daughter Lanie but his oldest daughter AndiLynn has a treasure trove of the times they shared together.

Teaching her about life and just simply being her dad was his greatest joy in life and brought more love into his life than could be explained. Scott was an amazing friend to all that knew him. The kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He had a heart of gold and was never too busy to lend a helping hand.

Scott grew up in the Evanston, Wyoming community and made an impact on more people than you could count. Growing up south of town in the High Uinta Wasatch area of the Rocky Mountains, he was an avid outdoorsman his entire life. He had a taste for adventure and a deep love for the throttle. Snow mobiles were his passion in life. So much so that he opened a business centered around the sledding life, High Uinta Ventures and later Two Guys Enterprise. He was a founding member of the sledding group Venture Brothers with his brother Trevor. He spent much of his life riding sleds and entering into different competitions and hill climbs throughout the region. He took on an active role in search and rescue over the years in his area and on some occasions aided in digging others out of the snow during those times. He attended many riding and avalanche safety seminars over the years, taking his daughter along with him to some of those seminars. Sometimes even with all the experience and proper gear, Mother Nature is too big a force to outrun. Which was Scott's case, but he went out of this world doing what he absolutely loved to do.

Scott is survived by his daughters AndiLynn and Lanie. His parents Scott (Bub) Wright and Trudy Wright. His brother Trevor Harmon and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Including his best friend and co-parent Autumn Jackson. He is preceded in death by his son Scott Weston Wright and his grandparents Warren S Wright and Virgina B Wright (fraternal) and Joseph J Isaac and Gertrude Isaac (maternal).

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in the May/June time frame in the High Uintas, once the weather is permitting. At which time he will be laid to rest in the mountains. Details to be announced.

His brother Trevor is hosting a memorial sled out and gathering at the High Uinta Ventures headquarters in the Uinta mountains 30 miles south of Evanston, Wyoming on Highway 150 on Saturday February 15,2025. Sledding starts at 9:00 am and gathering around 4:00pm More information can be found on the event on facebook on High Uinta Ventures Joatmon llc page.

In lieu of flowers a fundraiser is being held at the event, details for which can also be found on the facebook page and a separate fundraiser has been set up on behalf of his daughters as well on go fund me.

Until we meet again, Ride On...
