Ruth Erickson

Ruth Louise Robinson Erickson, age 65, passed away peacefully Friday, November 25, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ruth was born December 5, 1945 to John and Sheilah Robinson in Bradford On Avon, England. Ruth, along with her mother and sister, Sandra came to the United States to start a new life in Lehi, Utah. Ruth was blessed with three children; Jacquelyn Ruth, Heather Robin, and William Jason.

Ruth owned and operated Lyman Floral for nineteen years and had recently retired and sold the shop. She served as an ordinance worker in the Ogden temple before it closed. She told us this was one of the greatest experiences in her life.

Ruth is preceded in death by her father, John, a ex husband, William Gary Evans, nephews, Mark Olsen and Russell Greenwood. Ruth is survived by her mother, Sheilah Hackford, of Lehi, UT.; a sister, Sandra (Dennis) Greenwood of Lehi, UT.; a sister Aynsley Robinson (Marty) Rosik, nieces, Gillian and Abby of Canada, her three children, Jacquelyn, of Smithfield, UT.; Heather, of Clear Lake, CA.; and Jason, of Lyman, WY.; all of her grandchildren, Todd McDowell, Meghan McDowell, Malarie Beck, Courtney McDowell, Jace Evans, Jesse Kinder, Tahlia Evans, and great grandson, Cazious Goick; and Ruth's special friends, Keith Erickson and Foxy and Thatcher.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY. Viewing will also be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyman L.D.S. Chapel, Lyman, WY. with Bishop Layne Potter officiating.
Interment and graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. at the Lehi, Utah Cemetery,
Lehi, UT.
