Roxanne Nettles

October 3, 1955 — December 20, 2024

Roxanne was born October 3, 1955 in Burlingame, California to Arthur H. and Corrine H. (Cameron) Ferdinand.

She graduated from Monte Vista High School in Cupertino, CA in 1973 and then worked various jobs in the Bay area.

In 1976 she moved to Wyoming to work for Allied Chemical Corp. as an engineering secretary. Thats where she met her husband Lyle. They married November 4, 1977 in Sundance, WY.

She worked at Allied up until two weeks before the birth of their first child. She then turned into a stay at home mom, raising four kids.

She loved music and going to concerts. Elton John, Paul McCarthy, The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Pink just to name a few of the many. She saw one of her favorites Toby Keith five times. She also liked driving the back roads in her shiny GMC pickup.

Roxanne passed away December 20, 2024 at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston following a three month illness. She was 69 years young.

At her request, she had a small graveside service with family members at the Fort Brodger Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Lyle; her children Melissa, Richard, Johnny and James; grandson Dravyn; brother Richard Ferdinand of Santa Cruz, CA; her dogs Willie, Penny and Anthony plus nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Grandma C. and Aunt Mary Ellen; her in-laws Frank and Blanche Nettles; sister-in-law Barbara and a niece Trista.

Thanks to Crandall Funeral Home for all they did and Rocky Mountain Care for making her last days easier.

Goodbye Grandma, we'll see you again someday.
