Evanston, WY. Rollin Dean Lancaster, age 63, passed away at Evanston Regional Hospital in Evanston, Wy.; On January 3, 2012. He was born on June 7, 1948 in Afton, Wyoming, the son of Hyrum Dean and Neva (Shumway) Lancaster.
He married Mishaun Walker on April 16, 1982 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.
Rollin was an avid sports fan. He loved the New York Yankees baseball team, and spent over forty years as an umpire. He was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served in many callings within the church, including the Bishopric, High Priests, Elders, Youth groups, mission leader. Rollin loved to go fishing, spending time with his children, and grandchildren, and family and friends. He enjoyed running the clock for Evanston High School Sporting events.
He is survived by his spouse, Mishaun Walker Lancaster, sons, Tyler Dean Lancaster, Jeffrey Lee Lancaster, and Jordan Rollin Lancaster. He is survived by a daughter, Tiffany (Hilario) Cansino, and Linsey Lancaster. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Junior, Jeter, Samantha, and Lizeth.
He is also survived by his parents, Neva and Hyrum Lancaster and Brothers, Bernell (Susan) Lancaster, Terryl (Shelly) Lancaster, Willard Ray (Lori) Lancaster, and Sisters, Beverly (Brent) Simpson, Evelyn (Dennis) Davis, and Ladawn Erickson.
Preceded in death by, Grandparents, Guy Leon and Gladys Shumway, Millard and Jeanette Lancaster, Aunts, Valoy and Ledene
Visitation will be held at the Crandall Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Janiuary 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Evanston Oak Street L.D.S. Church. Interment will follow services at the Evanston Cemetery, Evanston, WY.
