Roland Holgate

Roland Dale Holgate age 80, passed away at his home in Evanston, Wyoming on June 3, 2014 with his family at his side. Roland was born on May 25, 1934 in Monroe, Utah to James Christian and Zenetta Julander Holgate. Roland married Janice Miller on January 27, 1953 in Farmington, Utah, they later divorced. He married Sheralyn Jensen on June 1, 1970 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Roland was happy when he was building something, he liked to work with wood. He was a teacher and was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating.
Roland is survived by his wife Sheralyn and sons; Roland Dale (Nancy) Holgate Jr. of Evanston, Steven Kent (Teresa) Holgate of Prescott, Az, Daniel James (Inge) Holgate of Thousand Oaks, Ca,  David Larell (Barbara) Holgate of Rock Springs, Wy Jeffrey Ryan (Kat) Holgate of Evanston,. He is survived by his daughters; Salena (Mike) Dorner of Evanston, Shelia Holgate of Evanston, Yvonne Cleaveland of Pinedale, Wy, Monica (Gary) Brusseau of LaPine , Or. Survived by 34 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
Roland is also survived by his brothers; Delvin (Bert) Holgate, Vern (Lorna) Holgate, Roger Holgate. Sisters; Lennith Curtis, Linda Batt, LaRene Roberts, and Claudette Chesnut.
Preceded in death by his parents Jim and Zenetta Holgate and sons; Kalyn Holgate, Kyle Holgate, Tim Holgate, and Devlin Holgate. Brothers; Jim Holgate, David Holgate, and Bob Holgate. Sister; Julie Anderson.
Funeral service for Roland will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Elm Street L.D.S. Chapel. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to funeral services on Saturday at the church.
