Roger Nels Urness, age 69, passed away on November 28, 2013 at his home in Evanston, WY. He was born on May 29, 1944 in
Cooperstown, North Dakota, the son of Nels and Alphild (Halvig) Urness.
He married M.Oreen "Red" Anderson on November 4, 2005 in Elko, Nevada.
Roger enjoyed fishing, prospecting, metal detecting, and woodworking, and enjoyed going camping. He was also a member of
the Elks Lodge. He worked for numerous years as a pipefitter in the oil and gas industry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Red Urness, of Evanston, WY.; a sister, Beatrice (Sydney) Harvey, and three daughters, Rhonda (DelRay) Mathoson,
Dayna (roy) Sprigue, and Misty (Kent) McPherson. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, WY.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home of Evanston, WY.
