Rodney Brown

Rodney James Brown, 61, of Ogden, passed away at his home on December 8, 2014.
He was born in Evanston, Wyoming on January 27, 1953 to James Ezra Brown and Betty Louise (Hutchinson) Brown.  On June 14, 1975 Rodney married Candace Barbara Tucker in Carlin, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized and their family was sealed together in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 16, 1986.  He worked for Union Pacific Railroad in various capacities, retiring after 41 years as a locomotive engineer on July 31, 2014.  The most important thing to Rod was his family, and he loved helping others.
Rodney is survived by his wife Candace, son Wayne Joel Brown of Ogden, daughter Stephanie Ranae (Anthony) Batt of Ogden, daughter Holly Ann (Mark) Hoss of St. George, brother Mark Curtis (Danae) Brown of Ogden, sister Celeste (Martin) Olson of Evanston; also eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents James and Betty Brown.
A graveside service will be held at Evanston City Cemetery on Monday December 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.  Crandall Funeral Home,
