The world has lost a good, sweet man. Robert Bruce Tueller passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
Bruce was born on February 16th, 1947 in Coalville, UT (only because there wasn’t a hospital in Evanston) to Robert “Tobe” and Bella Morrow Tueller.
Bruce was raised in Almy. He loved the ranch and being with his grandpa Morrow. He graduated from Evanston High School in 1965. Shortly after, he started working for the Union Pacific Railroad as a diesel electrician. He loved everything about his job.
He married Larna Juli Hutchings on February 16th, 1972 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their wonderful marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Utah temple on July 8th, 1989.
Bruce was a member of the LDS church where he held several callings, including in the bishopric.
Bruce loved life. He loved being out in the hills. The Butte was his most favorite place. He loved hunting and golfing with his family. Most of all he loved being with his grandkids and teaching them a little about everything. They all say, “Papa knows everything, he’s so smart”
Bruce is survived by his wife of 45 years, Larna Juli Tueller, his daughter Mandi (Heath) Langford and their boys, Tristen, Tage, Kayson and Kail of Spanish Fork UT, Travis (Candy) Tueller and children Austin and Addi, son Troy Tueller and family, brother Ron Tueller, brother-in-law Lynn (Sandra) Hutchings, sister-in-law Shelly Lester, sister-in-law Kim (Wayne) Morrow. He has many nieces and nephews. The whole family loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his son, Travis Tueller, Father Robert “Tobe” Tueller, Mom Bella Morrow Tueller, Brother Russ Tueller, in-laws Johnny and Terry Hutchings, brother-in-law Jay Lester and nephew Hayden Rex.
Bruce leaves a legacy for his family of respect, hard work, love of nature, and love of family. He had a huge heart and a kind word for everyone. He will be missed dearly by everyone. We are sure Trav is so happy to have his “Best Pal in the World” with him now.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Evanston LDS Church on 201 Sage Street. Family and friends will gather for viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wy and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral.
