In Loving Memory of Robert Perry Lester

Perry, a loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Perry was born on March 14, 1954, to Joyce and Verl Lester. He married the love of his life Sharon on March 17, 1973. They were sealed in the Logan temple on June 17, 1976, for all time and eternity and were blessed with five children.

Perry was a wonderful person with a big heart. He loved his family; he had many friends and was always ready to help anyone in need.

Perry was light-hearted and enjoyed making people smile and laugh, especially when they felt down.

Perry was a skilled mechanic who loved to work on cars and engines and always had a project in his garage.

Perry is survived by his mother, Joyce Lester; his children, Trinity Lester, Marti Filipovich (Marvin), Tawni Arthurs (Terry), Rusty Lester (Jen), and Dustin Lester (Amanda); his siblings, Steve Lester, Marie Barrus (Tracy), Robyn VanSyoc (Dan), Mark Lester (Jeff), and Caitlen Lester.

He is also survived by his ten grandchildren Samantha Filipovich, Bo Filipovich, Emily Filipovich, Chassidy Arthurs, Andrew Arthurs, Demetrius Lester, Seridan Lester, Arianna Lester, Mylee Lester, and Stella Lester.

He is preceded in death by his father, Verl Lester, his loving wife, Sharon Lester, and his brothers, Verl Gene Lester and Samuel Smith Lester.

Perry, we will always keep you in our hearts and will love and miss you until we meet again.

A viewing for Perry will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, November 11, 2022 at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston followed by a service at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hilliard LDS Chapel.
