On July 2, 2020, Robert Hamblin returned home to his Heavenly Father. He passed away on his ranch surrounded by his family. He was born on July 28, 1945, and was raised on a small farm in Kaysville, Utah. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He met the love of his life, Neta, in 1966, and they were married for 52 amazing years. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple in May of 1992.
Together they raised their sons to work hard on their ranch in Wyoming. Robert enjoyed raising horses, cows, hay, dogs, and sons on the ranch. He put up with the sheep. When he wasn't working on a piece of equipment on the ranch, he was running equipment somewhere else. He spent countless hours driving cross country in his Mack truck, running concrete equipment, repairing airport runways on HAFB, fixing Uinta county roads in a dump truck or motor grader.
Robert fought proudly for his country in the Army, during the Vietnam War. He served as an armor and he was a member of the 1st Aircav Division whose job was to clear LZ's. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings.
His memories will live on in his loving wife, Neta, sons; Ryan (Kris), Bob (Margaret), Seth (Tiffany), Tim (Aimee); fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
