Robert “Bobby” Fenus passed away on October 23, 2012 at his home in Mountain View, Wyoming.
He was born on March 3, 1954 in Evanston, Wyoming, the son of Edward and Beth (Rasmussen) Fenus. He married Patricia Jean Updike on December 20, 1993 in Manilla, UT.
Bobby enjoyed bowling, golfing, and watching baseball and football, and especially enjoyed watching the Miami Dolphins. When Bob was not working on his job, his second love was working on the family ranch. He enjoyed his friends, always getting together and having fun. Later in life he loved to travel by taking a cruise to Alaska, and just returning from the Carribean. Bob was a very positive person and always had a joke to tell with a smile and a chuckle. The last three years were a struggle but he was determined to live life to the fullest. Twice a year he would enjoy a trip with family and friends to Wendover, NV. Before and after haying season, and would enjoy trying to strike it rich and and enjoying every minute of it.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Mountain View, WY.; and children, a son, Christopher (Chelsea) Fenus, of Evanston, WY.; and his parents, Ed & Beth Fenus, of Mountain View, WY.; and a brother, Gary (Bonnie) Fenus, of Mountain View, WY.; and sisters, Donna Bindl, of Mountain View, WY.; Penny (Ronny) Robbins of Mountain View, WY.; and Marybeth (Sid) Sibert, of Mountain View, WY. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Lane Meyer, Kendra Meyer, and Harleigh Fenus. He is also survived by his step daughter, Debra (Steve) Jordan, of Woodland, CO.; Sandy Nihart, of Casper, WY.; and step son, Tom (Vicki) Widiker, of Glenrock, WY.; and step daughters, Jackie (Shawn) Harding, of Fruita, CO.; and Lisa White of Fruita, CO. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bobby Jane, a niece, Cindy E. Bindl, and nephews, Edward Bindl Jr. and Sean Fenus.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger, WY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger, with Father Jaime Bueno as the celebrant. Interment will follow services at the Fort Bridger Cemetery, Fort Bridger, WY.
