Robert Bisgaard

March 4, 1957 — September 30, 2016

Robert Don Bisgaard passed away Friday September 30, 2016 at his home after a long battle with cancer.  He was born to George Peter Bisgaard and Eleanor Louise Travis in Miller, South Dakota on March 4, 1957.
Bob loved his family more than anything, including his dogs.  He always had a real passion for motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons.  His family was not only blood he was like a father to many, many kids of all ages.  He enjoyed helping others and was a member and strong supporter of B.A.C.A. (Biker’s Against Child Abuse).  He enjoyed camping as he grew up in the Pathfinder’s and enjoyed passing on that knowledge.  He loved to teach how to fix things, drive a truck and anything he could pass on.  He loved the oilfield and owned Powder Burn Trucking.  He loved his coffee and watching the sunrise and wildlife.  He always had a listening ear, shoulder to cry on and loved to make everyone smile.  Bob loved his God, his country, his family and his friends.
Bob is survived by his children James “Derrick” Bisgaard and Jessica Nicole Wright, his mother Ellie Travis, brother’s Fred Bisgaard and Ed Bisgaard, his “brother’s” Robert Walker and Malcom Fergeson, his dog “Buddy” and every neighborhood kid that looked to him as a father and friend.
He is preceded in death by his father George Bisgaard and ex-wife Yvonne S. Myrick.
A memorial service will be held Thursday October 6, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Machine Shop in Evanston, Wyoming.
