Rick Walker

Rick Walker, “Book” as his friends knew him, or “Ricky” as his mom loved to call him passed away Sunday April, 10 2022.  He was a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend.

Rick was born November 30, 1961 in Evanston, Wyoming to Claude and Bernice Walker. Rick was raised in Robertson Wyoming, where he was a mischievous and adventurous brother and son. He loved to tease his siblings and pull any pranks he could on them.  He loved to spend most of his childhood outdoors on any adventure he could find.

Rick graduated from Mountain View Highschool in 1980. After graduation he pursued a job at Mountain Fuel.  He later married Tammy Fackrell on November 16, 1983.  They were blessed with one precious son Justin R. Walker, they were later divorced.

Rick had many hobbies and careers in his lifetime. He loved to do anything that involved being outdoors.   Rick had a passion for working on and rebuilding trucks, his favorite was the 72 Chevrolet C10.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Bernice Walker, one infant sister, and one infant niece. He is survived by his son, Justin (April) Walker, Evanston, 2 grandchildren Tori and Daxton Walker. His 5 siblings, Cheryl (John) Eyre, Lyman, Rudy (Clara) Walker, Ft. Bridger, Kim (Jerrilynn) Walker, Mt. View, Lynne (Shane) Beckstead, Idaho Falls, Lori (Doyle) Fredrickson, Lyman and many friends (for he called everyone his friend).

Rick will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

A Celebration of life will be held In Lyman on June 18, 2022.
