Richard Craig Hoffman
1960-2012
Craig Hoffman, 52, passed away in a tragic 4-wheeler accident on May 10th at his ranch in Randolph, Utah. He was born February 11th, 1960 in Evanston, Wyoming to Richard & Charmaine Hoffman. He graduated from South Rich High School in 1978. Tammy Bell and Craig Hoffman were married January 25th 1979; their marriage was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they had three sons.
His most treasured moments were spending time with his grandchildren.
Craig has touched the lives of countless people through his volunteer work and service to his community. He was involved in many organizations including: various church callings, Randolph Fire Department 32+ years and Fire Chief 26 years, Rich County EMT 15+ years, Little League Wrestling 24 years, Rich High School Wrestling Coach 16 years, Rich Booster Club President 10+ years, Rich County Fair Board Chairman 6 years, 4-H 20+ years, Bear Lake Community Health Center Board Member 9 years and Chairman of the Board of Directors 5 years. His final service was being a donor. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Tammy; sons T J (Mindy), Zach (Katelyn) and Colt; grandsons, Hazer, Carter and Will; granddaughter Baelee; parents Richard and Charmaine Hoffman; siblings, Kelly (Myrna), Charlene (Barry) McLean, Lisa (Brian) Cornford; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by a granddaughter Hadlee and grandparents, Ken and Helen Hoffman, Warren and Marian Meadows.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 12:00 at the Randolph Church. A viewing will be held Sunday, May 13th from 6-8 at the Randolph Church and from 10:00-11:45 prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Randolph City Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
