Rex Ervin Chandler, 84, passed away October 4, 2017 in Evanston, Wyoming.
He was born on March 6, 1933 to George Ervin and Jennie (Crossley) Chandler.
On October 29, 1955 he married Arlene Dolores Arambula in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rex served his country in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a member of the LDS church and the united steel workers 15320. He served his community as a reserve police officer for the town of Lyman. Above all, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene, and sons, Bruce (Tami) Chandler, Lyman; and Randy (Tracy) Chandler, of Evanston; Also his nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Wayne, his parents, and a sister Myrna Drolc.
Funeral service will be on Monday, October 9, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Lyman L.D.S. Ward Chapel.
Viewing will be on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Interment with military honors will follow at the Lyman Cemetery.
