Rayful "Jay" Beagley III, passed away at age 58, on December 13, 2013, due to a prolonged illness. He was born on Oct 7, 1955 in Salt Lake City, UT, the son of Rayful Jay Beagley Jr and Lila Dee (Carrell) Beagley.
He married Jennifer Cheney on June 2, 2006, in Randolph, Utah.
Jay enjoyed camping, fishing, boating and spending time with his granddaughter and family. He was also a member of the American Legion. He worked for numerous years as an over the road truck driver after he retired from the United States Air Force.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and served valiantly in many callings.
He spent many years proudly serving his country as a Tech Sargent in the United States Air Force. He donated 21 years to the military and loved every bit of it. He did everything from being the chief MP to working in the wood shop. It was a huge part of his life to the very end. He was admired by his family for his dedication.
He is preceded in death by both parents, and one sister, Patricia (Koehler)Orton.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Cheney Beagley, of Randolph, a sister, Connie (Darrell) Davis, a brother, Rick (Cindee) Beagley. He is also survived by 6 children, Zachary S Beagley, Nikitta B Marcum, Aaron Cheney, Emily Scott, DJ Scott and Taylor Scott. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Bryley LaDawn Dalke, who was his heart and soul. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins and extended family who adore him.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, the 18th at 1:00 in the Randolph LDS Ward building, with viewing for public from 11:30-12:45 prior to services. There will also be viewing Tuesday the 17th, at Crandall Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
