Ollie Kaltenbach

July 7, 1984 — December 20, 2014

Alois (Ollie) Thomas Kaltenbach was born in Evanston Wyoming on July 7 1984 to Thomas and Sharli
(Hixson) Kaltenbach. He was welcomed home by older brother Duvern and sister Patty (Ryan Clark).
He left this world unexpectedly on Saturday December 2o". He left behind so very many people that loved him and he will be truly missed. He brought so much joy to our lives and leaves us with so many memories he will be always chasing the next big buck not gone.
In May of 2003 he graduated from Evanston Senior High School and made the choice to join the Navy.  He left for Great Lakes Chicago in August of 2003 and graduated near the top of his class. He became a Rad Health Tech (Corpsman) ... "DOC" . After some schooling in Groton Connecticut he went to Bremerton Washington. When he left Bremerton it was on the carrier CVN70. He was headed for a world cruise and what a cruise it was. He earned his "shell" while circling the world. He spent some time in the Persian Gulf in the combat zone. He saw so many different places, cultures, peoples and loved it all even some of the local cuisines. He didn't have a girl in every port but he made friends in all of them. At the end of his cruise he spent time in Norfolk and was glad to be back on home soil. He went from there to San Diego and then later on to Okinawa Japan. He was very honored and proud to belong to the Navy and it's family.
When he left the Navy he furthered his education at Western Wyoming College earning his Associates in
Electrical. After graduation he took a job with Kinder Morgan in Rock Springs Wyoming. He really enjoyed that job and learned a lot. He left Kinder Morgan and the friends he had made,to further his career choice by taking a job with Chevron USA. He was only with Chevron a short while before the Lord took him home but he learned a lot and very much enjoyed what he was doing.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, recently learning how to bow hunt. Ollie never did anything half way and if there was a better way to do something he would find it.
He leaves behind his parents Tom and Sharli, Brother Vern, Sister Patty Clark, Brother In Law Ryan Clark,
Grandmother Kay Balstad, Grandfather Vernon Kaltenbach, Aunts and Uncles Allen Hixson, Danny and Linda Kaltenbach, Chris Kaltenbach, Susan Frese, Kathy Cadieu, Rosemary and Ross Lewallen, and Prebble and Brent Perea. Other numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces ... Dey'nelle, Jada, Bailey, Kaytlyn, Nephews ... Chase, Timothy, Jeremy and Leuxian.
He is welcomed to Heaven by his Grandmother Pat, Grandfathers Baldy and Henry, Great Grandparents Alois, Alice and Jeff. Aunts Tami and Nina and Uncle Weed.

He has so many family and friends whose lives he impacted and some he considered more family than
friends.
