Oleta Lambert
Oleta Dian Lambert passed away on January 31, 2017 in Provo, Utah.
She was born on July 25, 1938 in Bicknell, Utah to Edgar and Hazel (Brown) Larsen.
She married Maynard Lambert August 18, 1962 in her hometown of Bicknell. They were married for 44 years and had two sons, Brad and Bart.
Maynard preceded her in death on January 21, 2007.
Oleta taught many children in the South Summit School District during her 31 years of teaching, Third, Fourth and Fifth grades. She was a member of the Senior Citizens and enjoyed going on trips with them. She was also very active in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and gave many lessons at their meetings. Oleta was a member of the LDS church and served in many callings. One of her favorites was serving in the library.
She is survived by her son Bart, of Kamas, Utah and was preceded in death by her father Edgar Larsen and mother Hazel Brown, husband Maynard Lambert & son Brad, sisters; Adonna, Norma Marie, Vonda & Daphen Larsen and brothers; Glenn Brown, Clyde B and La Vard Larsen.
Funeral service will be on Monday February 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In the Kamas LDS Church, 200 West Center Street. Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. And one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery.
