Nina Russell

Natalina Maria Hixson Russell “Nina”, was born on February 5, 1964 at an Army Base in Vincenza, Italy to Alberta “Kay” and Henry Allen Hixson.  She was raised in Laramie, Wyoming and graduated in 1982 from Laramie High.  She moved to Indiana where she eventually met her true love, James Russell.  After their first child Justin was born, they moved to New Jersey where the eventually had their second child, Jason.  Four years ago they came to Evanston, Wyoming and made a home with new friends and family.

On Tuesday, May 13th, we said “so long for now” to a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.  She leaves behind her mother Kay Balstad, her sons Justin and Jason Russell, her companion Dave Nelson, sister Sharli (Tom) Kaltenback and brother Allen Hixson, along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

She is once again with her first true love James Russell, sister Tami Balstad Loughman, dad “Baldy” Balstad and grandparents.
