Our beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother returned to her Father in Heaven December 15, 2011 with her husband by her side after battling many health problems including rheumatoid arthritis and lung disease for several years. Nina Fisher Freestone was born on December 2, 1943 in Haverton Hill, Durham, England to Joseph Llewellyn and Hilda Short Fisher. She was compassionate, nurturing, and loved her family with all her heart. She was an artist and an author and she was often found creating scrapbooks for her children and her grandchildren. She loved to serve and dedicated herself to the Savior’s work. The last thing she did before going to bed her last night was visit with and pray with her husband, then read the scriptures. We are certain the Lord welcomed her into his arms and said, “Well done, though good and faithful servant.”
Survived by her loving husband Bruce, her four children; Chad (Faith), Jason, Wade (Cherie), and Corianne (Shane), and nine grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and one sibling.
