Nena Hansen

Nena Irene (Helms) Hansen died February 2, 2015.  She was born on July 24, 1941 in Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park Wyoming, one of six children born to William and Frieda Helms.
Nena married Gerald Marion Hansen on August 14, 1959 in Ogden, Utah.  Together they had two children.  She was an artist who enjoyed working with oil, water color and pastels.  Nena loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, camping or riding ATV’s.
Nena was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers Bill, Norman and Fred Helms.  Surviving is her Husband Gerald, “Jerry” Hansen of Robertson, Wyoming, son Jess (Karlene) Hansen of Harrisville, Utah, and son Brad (Michelle) Hansen, of Robertson, Wyoming.  Also, surviving are her brothers Clifford Helms of Lehi, Utah, Paul Helms of Shoshone, Wyoming, three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Manor Care in S. Ogden, Utah for the great care they took with Nena while she was ill.
Nena will be cremated as per her wishes.  A memorial service will be held at the Mt. View LDS Ward Chapel on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 11 am.
